Billsville Outdoors
Saturday, October 10th
We have established clear protocols for Billsville Outdoors shows because, as much as we love and miss live music, our collective health and safety is the top priority. Good safety requires everyone’s cooperation, so we ask all attendees to agree to these protocols when buying their ticket. Thank you for helping everyone stay healthy and feel confident about attending!
Tickets: We are selling “pods” to this show.
· 8 ft x 8 ft pods that hold four people for $100
· 4 ft x 4 ft pods that hold two people for $50
· Single seating for $25 - because we have to raise enough money via ticket sales to cover the band and subsequent overhead, single pods are limited and will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Speaking of overhead, always feel free to pay more money as a “tip.” This show will entail renting a portable toilet/hand washing station and the setup will be multiple hours in the making. The band will be driving from the Boston area and back on the day of the show. This is a huge effort for us all but a labor of love.
Weather: The show is scheduled for 4PM on Saturday, October 10th. We’ve had some chilly evenings here so be prepared to bundle up. Should the weather be problematic we will make the call to postpone by 10AM that morning. Sunday, October 11th at the same time is our “rain day.” Should both shows be cancelled we will process refunds. If you can make it Saturday, but not Sunday, please let us know so that we can create a standby list.
Publicity: Let’s please keep these show a secret until it’s over. As with all Billsville shows we expect high demand and we don’t want to jeopardize anyone’s safety by encouraging unexpected guests. You’ve been very good at this previously, let’s keep it that way.
Social distancing: We divide the backyard into areas of eight feet by eight feet or six feet by six feet where each small group (maximum of four people) can sit, with another six feet of space between each area. This creates more than enough room between areas and groups for safe social distancing. Each area for sitting is marked clearly with a number. We assigned you a number either when you bought your ticket, or later via email.
Limited capacity: In order to ensure the safe social distancing, we must limit our capacity. Absolutely no one will be admitted without a previous ticket purchase. In the case of cancellations or no-shows, the donation will go to the artist by default unless we discuss other arrangements. We are taking Venmo payments only for this event.
Masks: Everyone attending a show should wear a mask covering their nose and mouth when arriving or moving about the property. Masks can be removed when seated in a socially distanced area listening to music, eating or drinking.
Food and drink: Please feel free to bring your own food and drink to enjoy within your group in your socially distanced area during the show. Please remember to take out whatever you bring in.
Bathroom: There will be a single outdoor bathroom and hand washing station available, please no relieving yourself in the woods!
Experiencing symptoms? For the safety of everyone, please do not attend if you have experienced any recent symptoms or illness (shortness of breath, fever, chills, etc) or come in contact with someone suspected of having or who was diagnosed with COVID-19 within the two weeks prior to the show.
Distance from the performers: Because of the additional risk of singing, we create extra space between the artists and the audience. They’re still very visible, but you can also safe!
Merchandise: There will be merch for sale but please respect social distancing guidelines and be prepared to pay via Venmo.
