Joe Fletcher – July 2012

Back in May we announced that three (now four) of the acts to play Billsville had been booked at the prestigious Newport Folk Festival for 2012. We’re thrilled to announce that one of those acts, Joe Fletcher, will join us on July 13th for a preview of what thousands of music lovers will soon witness. Joe is a guy whose songwriting and playing put him in the upper echelon of today’s roots music performers. We’re truly blessed to have Joe back in town.

Joe has a remarkable efficiency with words, perhaps not surprising for a former English teacher, and he spins tales of the down and out, folks on the wrong side of life or just the simple sorry and strife of the everyday.
